Dali is in the northwest of Yunnan Province, 300km from Kunming - which is served by an International airport and great transport links to the surrounding countries and wider China. Yunnan is home to 25 ethnic minorities, which has created a unique cultural heritage amidst the area's picturesque and peaceful surroundings.
